Writing isn’t a job for us. It’s a mission. We write film & television that we hope will become a phenomenon in someone's life, whether it's for a few hours or several decades. That's how we've been affected by our influences and it's only fair and right we dish some of it right back to an audience. If they argue with their friends over a coffee or a beer; if they go back a second or third time and watch the movie again or buy the 2-disc Collector's Edition DVD or the 10-disc Box Set of the TV series, that's what we're after. The idea that lives on in the viewer's minds long after the end credits have rolled. Not everyone's going to get or like our material. Fine with us.
